Hello Dan,
I Googled & found your article while watching the Oprah episode of Blue Zones. You have a great writing skill, presentation & means of capturing the information. I can idenitfy with much of the information because my parents and grandparents are from the Upper Peninsula. My mother still says her mother lived so long because of the hard water in their area & grandma lived to be 98. She was very active until she went into a nursing home where she quickly withered & died. However, most of my memories were of her NOT sitting around. She loved her family and laughed often. My father is nearly 80 & mom is not far behind. She still exercises and is a true inspiration to me and my 11 siblings! - Colleen Smith

Hi Dan,
Thanks for this "behind the scenes". I often wonder what the "real" person is away from the cameras. It's nice to know that Dr. Oz is the real deal.
I look forward to reading and sharing your book with my clients.
Best,
Stephen - Stephen Cooper
