The Blue Zones Legacy Project is a multi-disciplinary research project for students to find “super seniors” in their community. We’re turning kids into real scientific sleuths, using the same technique our team in the field uses to identify and learn from successful agers. Check out the Legacy Project >>
We offer a free, archived learning expeditions that develop curiosity, collaboration, problem solving and critical thinking. Students unlock longevity’s secrets through videos, written dispatches, photographs and written pieces that cover the team’s logistical, ethical and storyline decisions. The goal is to identify common threads in lifestyles, diet, outlook and stress-coping mechanisms found in the world’s oldest and healthiest people.
Three quests include educational materials:
Okinawa, Japan
Nicoya, Costa Rica
Ikaria, Greece
All quest videos can be found on our YouTube Channel.
