Surrounded by Family, and Living Longer as a Result

In 2007, the Blue Zones team visited the Nicoya Peninsula in Costa Rica, a place with a cluster of the longest-lived people in the Americas. On day eight, we found out that Nicoyan elders live surrounded by close friends and family. Multi-generational living may have a strong impact on longevity.
