Carrie Anne is a seasoned leader with over two decades of experience in healthcare and community engagement. She was instrumental in implementing one of the first Blue Zones Projects, serving as the Organizational Lead in the Beach Cities, California, where she developed lasting strategies and best practices still used today. Her dedication continued at the Beach Cities Health District, where she oversaw health and wellness programs across multiple school districts and managed a robust volunteer program of parents and community members, resulting in a 75% decline in student obesity rates within the Redondo Beach Unified School District.
Carrie Anne has championed clinical and social determinants of health programs throughout her career, significantly contributing to health equity initiatives with Blue Shield Promise and PopHealthCare. She was instrumental in overseeing the Enhanced Care Management Program within the CalAIM Medicaid initiative across sixteen California counties.
She is passionate about fostering high-performing teams, public speaking, and driving community transformation. Carrie Anne holds a BA in Organizational Leadership from the University of Arizona.
Beyond her professional achievements, Carrie Anne is deeply involved in her community. She serves as the School Site Council chair at Redondo Union High School, Philanthropy Chair of the Redondo Union High Football Booster Club, Historian for the South Bay Chapter of the League of Young Men, and volunteers regularly with multiple organizations throughout Southern California.
