Passionate advocate for food systems transformation, sustainability, climate resilience, and public health.
Geneviève LeBlanc is the Director of Food Systems at Blue Zones, where she brings deep experience designing and advancing innovative, equitable, and community rooted food initiatives. She previously led food systems efforts at Blue Zones Project Monterey County, where she secured over $2 million to launch Double Up Food Bucks, expanding access to healthy food, supported the development of Food is Medicine initiatives, and co founded the Monterey County Food System Coalition.
Her background spans international development, philanthropy, sustainability, and public health, including work with Oxfam in Peru, the International Fund for Agricultural Development in Brazil, and Driscoll’s in California. She was also part of a six-person founding team that launched a $45+ million holistic health and well-being initiative in Quebec, Canada.
She serves as President of the Board of Directors for Everyone’s Harvest and co-chairs the American Public Health Association’s Food and Environment Working Group. She is fluent in four languages and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University and a Master’s in Gender, Development, and Globalization from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
