Pursues a multi-disciplinary, collaborative approach to sustainable urban design and placemaking, with a particular focus on the integration of smart, safe transportation and innovative codes for the benefit of communities.

Marcy is an architect and urban designer with over 30 years of national and local experience. Over time she has sharpened her focus on a multi-disciplinary, collaborative approach to urban design and placemaking. Marcy has devoted her life and career to making cities walkable, beautiful, and more true reflections of their unique place in the world and the desires of the people living there. Marcy has held positions with national and regional organizations including as Board Chair of the Congress for the New Urbanism (CNU) and the CNU Project for Transportation Reform. Marcy has won multiple awards based on the creativity and vision of her designs, her technical skills, and a record of successful implementation. Based on her leadership, her designs have a strong record of being realized; they are compelling but also grounded in regulatory language and understanding of construction and materials. Marcy knows how to facilitate conversations between stakeholders about difficult community issues, and manages to bring project partners with diverse needs and agendas together for agreements and resolution.
