Victoria Treski (M.A.) is a multi-faceted food systems professional, with diverse experiences in the field and in philanthropy focused on food insecurity, local food and farm enterprise development, food access, hunger relief, and local food supply chain development. Victoria has undertaken food systems work in the United States and abroad, from program development to investment design and implementation. With a Master’s degree in International Development and Food Security, Victoria has diverse experience in fostering food systems infrastructure and policy development at various scales. She has equal comfort supporting agricultural producers as well as consumers, and she is passionate about advancing racial equity in food systems and beyond.
Originally from Orlando, Florida, Victoria began her career in the U.S. Peace Corps in Lesotho, Southern Africa, but her passion for food started in New York City while manning the bakery at Whole Foods, managing farmers markets, and supporting food rescue programs. More recently, she supported over $11 million in investments into the regional food system in the Washington D.C. metro area. She has been a member of the Denver Sustainable Food Policy Council, the Colorado Food System Advisory Council and the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments Food and Agriculture Regional Member (FARM) Committee.
