Blue Zones Wine

Cannonau di Sardegna

Cannonau di Sardegna

For 20 years, I’ve travelled the world discovering the longest-lived cultures and dubbed them blue zones.

I found this Cannonau in Sardinia. Made from garnet-red grenache grapes, it bursts with flavors of ripe cherries, spices and a hint of vanilla. Traditionally, people drank a glass or two daily, offering their friends this toast:

“A Kent’Annos”– May you live to 100!

– Dan Buettner

Drink a glass or two of red wine daily. Sardinians drink wine moderately. Cannonau wine has two or three times the level of artery-scrubbing flavonoids as other wines.
