Allison Troyer Wiswell

Championed the Barry County effort to bring the Blue Zones initiative to Michigan.

Allison is the Activate Director for the Barry County region. She will work with local leaders, the local steering committee, and Blue Zones experts to develop built environment and food policy strategies that will improve the health of everyone in Barry County.

For 14 years, Allison worked with employers throughout Southwest Michigan in her role at Holtyn & Associates, a workplace wellness firm. It is her love for her community and its people that drives her, and she is excited to increase connectivity and collaboration in Barry County to help foster a place where people live longer with higher quality lives for generations to come. Allison is also a Hastings Rotarian, a Spectrum Health Pennock Patient Family Advisory Council member, a B. Healthy Coalition member, a Pierce Cedar Creek Fund Development Council member, a Barry Community Foundation Events Committee member and a Rotary Student Program Steering Committee member.

Allison received a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Western Michigan University.
