Ave Maria latest in SWFL to be recognized as a Blue Zone Community
Ave Maria joins the Southwest Florida communities of Naples, Immokalee, Bonita Springs, Estero, Golden Gate, East Naples, and Marco Island as being recognized as one of the first places in Florida and the Southeast U.S. to achieve a Blue Zone Community Certification. Blue Zones Project is a community-led well-being improvement initiative designed to make healthy choices easier through permanent changes to a city’s environment, policy, and social networks.
