Doctor’s Notes: Don’t forget about the importance of your bones

The Blue Zones Project® encourages natural movement and sitting on the floor to promote full range-of-motion. Bone strength is inextricably linked to muscle mass and strength. The more we move, the stronger our muscles and bones become. There is overwhelming evidence that those with better posture, balance and muscle strength are much less likely to fall and injure themselves, especially into later years.
