Trying to maintain a healthier diet? “Nutrition Action” has some easy tips to keep you eating the way you should.

At The Store:

1. Replace processed meats with no-nitrite-added deli meats.

The World Cancer Research Fund and the American Institute for Cancer Research invites you to stay away from Red and processed meats. Eat no more than 18 ounces of red meat a week and no processed meats at all!

At Home:

1. Make your snacks fruit or vegetables.

Have an orange, a half cantaloupe, a peach, plum banana or a bowl of cherries and berries. These low-calorie snacks will help tide you over to your next meal!

At A Restaurant:

1. No Bread, no chips

Ask yourself, do you really need that basked of bread or tortilla chips? Okay, let me answer that for you – no, you don’t!!
