“Live to 100: Secrets of the Blue Zones” Wins 3 Daytime Emmy Awards
On June 7th at the 51st Daytime Emmy Awards in Los Angeles, the hit docuseries Live to 100: Secrets of the Blue Zones took home three Emmy Awards. The team behind the docuseries won Best Directing Team for a Single Camera Daytime Non-Fiction Program, Outstanding Music Direction and Composition, and Best Sound Mixing and Sound Editing.

The Live to 100 team was also nominated in the Outstanding Lifestyle Program, Best Cinematography, and Best Single Camera Editing award categories this year.
The award-winning team behind the series included members of its production company, MakeMake Entertainment, as well as its host and Executive Producer: best-selling author and Blue Zones Founder, Dan Buettner.

Over 20 individuals worked on the series, travelled to five countries while filming, and worked for over five years to bring the docuseries to life. During the first week of the show’s release on Netflix, it was the #1 streamed show on the platform.
