A healthy and flavorful side dish for everyday eating or a fun fall get together. This Maple Chili Butternut Squash adds the perfect amount of sugar and spice to any meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 butternut squash
  • ½ tsp chili pepper
  • 2-3 T of real maple syrup
  • Grated fresh ginger (optional)

Directions

  1. Peel and cube the butternut squash
  2. Pre-heat oven to 350° Fahrenheit.
  3. Toss butternut squash in 2-3 tablespoons of maple syrup, ½ teaspoon chili pepper and grated fresh ginger.
  4. Place cubed squash in a single layer on a foil-lined baking sheet.
  5. Bake butternut squash for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through.
