• Former Director of Outreach and Education at Blue Zones
  • M.A.Ed
  • Blue Zones Expert

Amy Tomczyk has a passion for sharing the Blue Zones stories with women, youth and non-profit organizations where she can draw connections between their mission, vision and values and the Blue Zones approach. Amy’s presentations begin with an overview of the areas identified as Blue Zones and what sets them apart from the rest of the world, from outlook to movement to family to food. She then ups the ante, engaging the audience by showing that the concepts behind the Blue Zones can work to change the environment for any school, workplace, organization or community. Amy’s enthusiasm is clear as she gets into the real data: increased health, decreased sickness, increased happiness, and decreased health care spending.

Amy was the Director of Outreach and Education at Blue Zones from 2006 to 2013, has a master’s degree in education, a bachelor’s degree in journalism and over a decade of Blue Zones expertise. Amy delivers the perfect actionable message to audiences both young and old, anywhere in the world.
