As a key leader within our community, we are thrilled to invite you to a presentation to learn how a Blue Zones Project can help us transform the health and well-being of Tuolumne County and understand the next steps to launch.
Informed by their research of the world’s longest-lived cultures and their work in over 56 communities across North America, Blue Zones helps communities live longer, better by improving the environments in which we live, work, grow up, and grow old. Participating cities and counties have seen double-digit drops in obesity, smoking, and stress, along with significant improvements in workplace productivity, healthcare costs, and civic engagement. This transformation is a multi-year, multi-disciplinary effort that involves the entire community—schools, restaurants, grocery stores, government, businesses, faith-based organizations, and individuals—and it only works if all of us get behind it.
